September 17th, 2008 Meeting

 

  I am going to have to resort to using a tri-pod when
 taking indoor photos with ambient light.  I just can't keep
the camera still long enough to get steady pictures.

District Governor Melvin "Bud" Chambliss
was our guest for the morning.  This was his
annual club visit.
 		  
 
Governor Bud informed the club of the direction that
both the district and international was headed
for the 2008 - 2009 year.
 		  
 
We had fairly goo attendance, but we have had much better.
 		  
 
Lion Bates won the 50/50 but failed to draw the "A". 
The pot is over $80.
Lion Jessie won the membership drawing and put the
monies in the General Fund.
