Our Key speaker for the meeting was PDG, Lion Jo Nelson of the Vinton Luncheon Lions Club, gave a program on Peace Poster.

Lion Ken says, "What, me worry?"

 
Well, it looks like everyone work up and took notice of the program.

 

Lion Jo presented some startling statistics on your crime in our area, and the importance of getting them involver in programs such as the Peace Poster Contest.
Diana Smith our Avon representative, went over all the products for Christmas.  The staff at the Roanoker was very interested as well.




 

Lion Barbara won the 50/50 drawing, but failed to draw the "A".

 
Club President Lion Leonard won the attendance drawing.

Diane Smith gave the club a hanging that we used in a drawing, and Lion Glenn won the drawing.

We want to thank PDG Jo Nelson and Diana Smith from Avon for getting up and out so early in the morning to meet with our club.  We are most grateful.
